“You never have to change anything you got up in the middle of the night to write.” –Saul Bellow
In 2004, I awoke in the middle of the night and words started flowing in my mind. I grabbed a pencil and notebook and went to the bathroom where lighting would not disturb anyone. Hours later, a metaphorical story was finished called A Parable of Flowers. This happened again in 2008 with A Walk Along the Sea – A Parable for Parents. Nothing has ever come to me this way since but I do enjoy writing reflective thoughts which you can find in my blog.

“I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.”
